450 employees operating 3 shifts fabricate nearly 1.3 million parts and assemblies a month for customers like Denso, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, BMW, Chrysler, Ford, GM and Mercedes.
Koyo Corporation is the only U.S. firm owned and operated by Koyo Materica of Nagoya, Japan. Koyo Materica is a metals trading company headed by Chairman, Mr. Miekichi Yoshida.

Koyo America's beginnings are rooted in the warehousing of metal raw materials for the production of automotive HVAC components by Denso Manufacturing of Michigan, Inc., Battle Creek, MI in 1987. Koyo was awarded the opportunity to build and manufacture aluminum automotive HVAC pipes and tubes for North American built Japanese 'transplants' by Denso in 1989. With the technical expertise of Denso Airs and Denso Japan, Koyo was transformed into a very strong and organized manufacturing company.

Koyo's manufacturing of pipes and tubes modestly began with 50 employees to now over 450 employees operating 3 shifts to support nearly 1.3 million parts and assemblies a month. Over 60% of the pipes fabricated are for heater core applications by tier 1 customers like Denso. The remaining production is dedicated to making air conditioning tubes and assemblies for 'pass-through' customers like Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, BMW, Chrysler, Ford, GM and Mercedes.
